Water-activated composite • Up to 240°F

Hydra Wrap

Hydra Wrap is a water-activated fiberglass composite repair system with temperature capability up to 240°F, subject to application-specific engineering.

Fiberglass composite reinforcement around industrial piping

Built around the application

Water-activated reinforcement for industrial pipe repair.

Hydra Wrap combines biaxial fiberglass reinforcement with a water-activated resin system for industrial piping repair applications. Its stated temperature capability is up to 240°F.

For oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, and other industrial facilities, system selection begins with the equipment condition and service requirements. Pipe geometry, remaining wall thickness, pressure, temperature, and chemical exposure must be considered together.

Discuss your ASME PCC-2 composite repair requirements with FMJ Composites. Confirm the current product documentation, system qualification, repair design, and installation requirements before use. Temperature capability alone does not establish suitability for a pressure-retaining repair.
